It's a.........BABY!!!

Welcome to the Mathys' Baby Blog! If you haven't already heard the news... WE'RE PREGNANT! YIPPEE!!

It all started when Emily suspected she was "late" for her July cycle.... then the tiredness, frequent bathroom visits and headaches began! On Thursday, 7/17 Em decided to take a pregnancy test...With Joseph at her side, the test came back POSITIVE!! Em thought, maybe it's a fluke, so she tried again, and...ding ding ding... POSITIVE! We couldn't stop smiling all night and told our close family and friends that night! We hardly slept with anticipation and excitement as Friday rolled around. While Joseph was hard at work, Emily took another pregnancy test (just to make sure!), and BINGO>>>> POSITIVE!! Em tried to get into the dr. on Friday to get bloodwork done, but her dr. was on VACATION!! ARGH>>> and the waiting game began.... What a LONGGGGG weekend, but on Monday, 7/21 Emily went to the dr. to get the confirmation bloodwork done. "Tommorrow morning we'll have the results said the nurse".... ARGH>>more waiting, but my dr. congratulated us and gave me a referrel to Dr. Schrickel, OBGYN. Em set up an appt for 10:00 a.m. on 7/31. Check back for the first impression OBGYN report!
